Here is how we name the days of the week in Kabyle language according to the Berber Academy :

(Formal forms used in education, school and university)

Monday - Arim

Tuesday - Aram

Wednesday - Ahad

Thursday - Amhad

Friday - Sem

Saturday - Sed

These names can be found on glibc library.

You can read the history of the ticket here :  https://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=18812

On the ScriptSource website, there is a webpage called :  Names of Months and Days in Kabyle where it is mentionned :

Days

Sunday: Acer
Monday: Arim
Tuesday: Aram
Wednesday: Ahad
Thursday: Amhad
Friday: Sem
Saturday: Sed

However, kabyle people still use (borrowed forms) in daily life :

Monday - Letnayen
Tuesday - Ttlata
Wednesday - Laṛebɛa
Thursday - Lexmis
Friday - Lǧemɛa
Saturday - Ssebt
Sunday - Lḥedd

It is recommend to use, always, the (formal forms) as a standard in calendar software when it comes to translate software to kabyle language.

This page will be update soon with more documentation : kabyle translators and localizers where notified to provide more documentation.
